The Russian Winter Fairy Tale in Qatar

On December 12-13,2014 a real Russian Winter Fairy Tale came to Qatar where at the Crown Plaza Hotel of Doha the Russian Community under the guidance of the Embassy and the Coordinate Council of the Russian Compatriots have staged a magnificent performance for children dedicated to the forthcoming New Year and following the best traditions of the Russian styled "Yolka" events where small audience and their parents could see such beloved characters as the Grandfather Frost, the Snow Maiden, the Wolf, marvelous allegories of Summer and Winter and gorgeous, ready-for-action Snowboys and Snowgirls! The high-class performance successfully incorporated  the company of junior ballet-dancers “Arabeski” (lead by Mrs.M.Bologan), dancing ensemble Renaissance – the International Center for Music and brilliant New Year Chorus (special thanks to Mrs. Eugenia Goncharova and Mrs. Olga Protopopova), violin and piano produces by Mr.Dmitry Torchinskiy of the QPO and his uneclipsed young daughter Mia and Mr. Afshin Jabbari, and of course our talented and unbeaten Russian classical poetry reciters – Ms.Sofia Vasilenko, Mr. Artur Konkov, Mr.Adam Zaki and Mr.Turan Nassar!
